about

OCEANS APART is the first single off MoJoh’s Coming Home album and is inspired by what might be one of the greatest love-stories ever written. Please visit our website for more information: www.MoJoh-music.com
You can find a stunning musicvideo for this song on my youtube-cannel which was filmed in Iceland and Hamburg - directed by Berit Kaltofen

The song’s main theme is to overcome separation and adversity. Heartbreak as an opportunity to learn and grow, which might be a direct metaphor for the current state of the world, which is reflected in the lyrics of the second verse:

‘this world is upside down
‘let’s hurry up and turn it around
we must get back to the source
this is not the time for remorse’

lyrics

LYRICS
they told me find somebody just like you
who’s favourite colour is the colour of blue
and when I saw you it felt like home
but you said now it’s time to be on your own

so I went away to a far away place
far beyond time and space
I knew one day it would all change
when time was re-arranged

who is on my side
at the dark of the night when the moon pulls the tide
who can tell wrong from right
when the stars fall down and I can no longer see the light

this world is upside down
let’s hurry up and turn it around
we must get back to the source
this is not the time for remorse

the ocean that separates the land
makes it hard for us to find a stand
but now it’s time to expand
honey please let me hold your hand

who is on your side
at the dark of the night when the moon pulls the tide
who can tell wrong from right
when the stars fall down and you can no longer see the light

who is on my side
at the dark of the night when the moon pulls the tide
who can tell wrong from right
when the stars fall down and I can no longer see the light

about

MoJoh Iceland

Personally I feel like being a musician is not about financial success & fame-
I always wanted to do something good through music and that’s still the main objective-
my songs all carry a message of love & light - I am trying to raise awareness not for what’s bad out there-
to me it’s more important to focus on all the good things we are capable of as a human race.
